There’s still a lot of mystery when it comes to this character. His darker, supernatural story has made him a standout persona in Marvel lore. The tug of war between good and evil has made him a modern day Jekyll and Hyde. His story comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the anti-hero Dr. Michael Morbius in the upcoming theatrical release of Morbius.
About The Character
Dr. Michael Morbius is a biochemist with a rare blood disorder. He is determined to save others from suffering his same fate. After years of experimentation, the doctor has found a cure. At first the cure seems like a success. But soon a darkness inside him is unleashed. The side effects include heightened senses, a sensitivity to light and an insatiable thirst for blood. Will good triumph over evil or will he succumb to his new urges?
