About Dual
Sarah (Karen Gillan) has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. She decides to clone herself so that her family and friends can better cope with her loss. She trains her clone to be exactly like her for a smooth transition. But she soon has a miraculous recovery.
Now she has two versions of herself in the world. According to the law, humans cannot live longer than the time limit of their clones. She attempts to have her clone decommissioned. But all her attempts fail. Because they can’t co-exist, her last resort is to go to court.
The courts deem that they must dual to the death because only one of them can survive.
