John Wick Chapter 4 Trailer

In recent years, John Wick has been one of the most successful franchises in recent years. It’s one of my all time favorite franchises. With the release of the John Wick Chapter 4 trailer from Lionsgate, this movie will be epic. And to think, this all started when someone killed his dog.
Before we dive into the trailer, let’s start from the beginning. In John Wick, the retired hit man is forced back into the fold when someone kills the dog his late wife left him. After numerous gunfights, sword fights and plane old kicking ass, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the cusp of defeating High Table once and for all. As we can see from the trailer, he’ll be killing his bad guys in spectacular fashion. Among his enemies are some of my favorite actors.
High Table of the underworld’s most powerful organization. John Wick has fallen from High Table’s good graces. After the events of Chapter 3, the head or The Marquis de Gramont (Bill Skarsgård, It) of High Table offers him a way out. With a challenge to single combat, win or lose, Wick has a way out. Also, new to the franchise is Donnie Yen (IP Man). At the start of the trailer, he tells Wick, “You are going to die.” In which the Baba Yaga, Wick’s nickname, replies, “Maybe not.” The brief snippet of the sword/gun fight between the two had me drooling.
Returning as his allies are Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne and Hiroyuki Sanada. As Fishburne gifts Reeves a suit, he says, “A man has to look his best when it’s time to get married or buried.” Be that as it may, Wick does have a knack for always coming out on top.
John Wick hits theaters on March 24, 2023. After that, the franchise expands. Lionsgate has confirmed there will be a John Wick Chapter 5. Furthermore, Reeves may be returning as John Wick in the spin-off The Ballerina. Finally, Peacock has plans for a prequel series, The Continental.
