About Night Sky

Night Sky is a science fiction, drama centered around married couple Franklin (JK Simmons) and Irene (Sissy Spacek) York. The Yorks have been married for over fifty years living in the same home. They are a devoted, aging couple who are facing their last year together.

After years of living together, they are thinking about selling their home. Irene has mobility issues after a bad fall and Franklin is suffering memory loss. To make matter worse, they are still coping with the loss of their son to suicide.

But there is just one thing. Their shed has an elevator that can transport you to an observation room on a deserted alien planet.

While going to visit the shed, Irene finds a man covered in blood almost unconscious. She brings the man back to the house to help him. He reminds her of her son. The stranger, Jude (Chai Hansen), begins exploring around the house once he feel better. This complicates things for Irene and Franklin.

Besides the story of Franklin and Irene, there is another subplot in Argentina. Stella (Julieta Zylberberg) lives with her daughter Toni (Rocío Hernández) in isolation. This frustrates Toni until finds out the reason why. Her mother is guarding a portal to an alien planet in a church near her home.

Are the two portals connected? Do they go to the same planet? The eight episode show will answer all these questions and more.
