About She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law centers around Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a 30-something attorney with one major characteristic. She is a green 6-foot 7-inch superpowered hulk.

The new series was created by Jessica Gao for Disney+ and is based on the Marvel Comics character She-Hulk. The show will debut on Disney+ on August 17, 2022 with nine episodes. Several Marvel characters will be guests on the show. Characters include; Smart Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Wong (Benedict Wong) and Emil Blonsky/The Abomination (Tim Roth).

About the She-Hulk Character

According to the comic, Jennifer Walters is a lawyer who become injured. After her injury, she receives a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner. Through the transfusion the receives a mild version of his Hulk condition.

It causes her to become a large, powerful, green version of herself. When Bruce Banner transforms, he turns into the Hulk. Unlike Banner, Walters still retains her intelligence and emotional control. Like the Hulk, she is still susceptible to outbursts of anger and becomes stronger the angrier she gets. Earlier in the comics, she change from Jennifer Walters to She-Hulk. Later, the change is permanent.

She is a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, Fantastic Force and S.H.I.E.L.D. As a superhero lawyer, she leverages her legal and personal experience to serve as an attorney for various superheroes and metahumans.
