Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Trailer
The new trailer for season 3 of Star Trek: Picard boldly explores the final season where the stakes have never been higher. As we can see from the posters below, Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) will reunite with members of his Star Trek: The Next Generation crew.
Before we dive into season 3, let’s go back to the beginning. The series is set 20 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis. Deeply affected by Data’s death, Picard has retired from Starfleet. For that reason, he has secluded himself on his family’s vineyard. In light of this, he is drawn into a new adventure when he is visited by Data’s daughter. This sets off a chain of events putting Picard in contact with the Borg Queen.
What’s more, in season 2, Picard is faced with an old adversary, Q (John de Lancie). In the ultimate trial, Q traps Picard in the 20th century to save the future of the galaxy. As a result, Picard is reunited with Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan), Guinan (Whoopi Goldberg), William Riker (Jonathan Franks), Deanna Troj (Marina Sirtis) and Data (Brent Spiner).
As we can see from the trailer, season promises more appearances from the USS Enterprise crew. This includes La Forge (LeVar Burton), Worf (Michael Dorn) and Crusher (Gates McFadden). Not much is known about the plot of season 3. Judging from the trailer, this season will be reminiscent of the Next Generation days.
