The Cellar Trailer

The Cellar is based on Brendan Muldowney’s short Ten Steps. It gives the Irish filmmaker a chance to expand upon the story.

Synopsis

Kiera Woods (Elisha Cuthbert) and her husband Brian (Eoin Macken) are both advertising professionals. They move their family into a new home in Emerald Isle for work. It’s a remote fixer upper they snagged in an auction.

One night, Ellie, the daughter is left to babysit their son Stevie while Keira and Brian goes to a business dinner. While their parents are gone, the power goes out. Ellie (Abby Fitz) goes to the cellar to check it out and disappears.

The parents search the house and can’t find her so they go to the police. But the police think she is a runaway. While in the cellar, Keira strange markings engraved on the walls. She begins to believe that somethings else is going on.

She soon discovers an ancient entity is in her home and it has taken her daughter. And is determined to get her back.
