Tonight the National Christmas Tree will be lit for the 100th time in a star-studded celebration featuring LL Cool J as host at Ellipse in President’s Park. The tradition began with President Calvin Coolidge in 1923. Performing this year is Gloria Estefan, Andy Grammer, Joss Stone and Shania Twain. A special performance of “The President’s Own” will be played by the United States Marine Band. Watch it tonight on CBS at 8pm ET.
