The featured show tonight is Hulu’s Kindred. The series is adapted from the novel of the same name by Hugo Award-winner Octavia E. Butler. It’s about a young Black woman who is aspiring to be a writer. As she begins to settle into her new home, strange things begin to happen. She finds herself being pulled back and forth in time. Each time she returns to the 19th century plantation, she must confront secrets she never knew ran through her blood.
