The most anticipated show on TV tonight is the final chapter of the Halloween franchise, Halloween Ends. It’s been over 40 years since the franchise first hit theaters in 1978. And tonight is the epic conclusion to the battle between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. At least until someone decides to remake it.
The iconic Jamie Lee Curtis returns for the last time as Laurie Strode. She has horror’s first “final girl.” The movie holds the record for the longest actor-character parings in cinema history. In 2018 when the franchise relaunched, Halloween became the franchise’s highest grossing chapter. In addition, it set a new world record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror movie starring a woman. There’s no doubt that this will have the highest ratings tonight since Universal Pictures agreed to release the movie in theaters and on the streaming service Peacock.
See below for other shows premiering tonight and check out what other shows are premiering today and other premiere dates of other TV and streaming shows debuting in October.
